Pentad Pvt Ltd was born out of a deep passion for education and a commitment to nurturing confident, self-reliant learners. The journey began in 2018 when our founder, Sharanya Eshwaran, left her role as a scientist to follow her calling in education. She established Pentad Academy as an after-school learning center for K-12 children, where innovative teaching methods quickly gained traction.
In 2020, like many, we faced the challenges brought by the pandemic. Transitioning to online classes was a significant shift, but it allowed us to continue supporting our students' learning journey. However, the unprecedented times led us to pause operations in 2021.
Determined to rebuild stronger, Sharanya took this as an opportunity to upskill herself, completing a formal business education program at IIM Indore in 2022. With renewed focus and expertise, Pentad Academy embraced the transformative Multiple Intelligence theory in 2023, focusing on creating personalized learning experiences for every child.
That same year, we developed key products, including the Multiple Intelligence Test, the Skillsprout app, and a tailored Multiple Intelligence curriculum. This period also marked significant milestones: Pentad Academy became Pentad Education Pvt Ltd and gained recognition by being incubated at NSRCEL IIM Bangalore.
In 2024, we reached new heights. Pentad Education Pvt Ltd won the Karnataka Elevate 2023 Grant, joined NASSCOM, and got incubated with Startup Karnataka's CoE-IoT program. These achievements reflect our dedication to innovation and quality in education.
Pentad Academy has been marked by continuous growth and recognition, especially in the business and tech communities. Their product was showcased at major business expos such as the Eldorock India K-12 Expo and the Bangalore Tech Summit, where Mr. Priyank Karge launched the product and expressed his admiration for the innovative approach based on Multiple Intelligence. Additionally, Pentad was part of the Summit Up event at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore, further solidifying its presence in the education and technology landscape. These events have provided valuable exposure, highlighting the impact and potential of their unique educational methods.
