Sharanya Eshwaran's journey into education is a story of passion, transformation, and dedication. During her Master's in Microbiology at the University of Mysore, a professor recognized her innate ability to teach. This encouragement planted a seed that would later grow into a full-fledged career in education.
After completing her studies, Sharanya worked in the pharmaceutical and food industries for six years as a microbiologist. However, she realized her true calling lay elsewhere—helping children learn in meaningful and enjoyable ways. This realization led her to establish a learning center for students, where she implemented the concept of Multiple Intelligence theory. Sharanya believed that every child has unique strengths and that education should cater to these diverse abilities.
Her innovative approach transformed the classroom experience. One notable success story involved a student who struggled with mathematics. By using interactive activities and games aligned with the MI theory, Sharanya helped the child overcome their fear of numbers and develop confidence in problem-solving. Such experiences reaffirmed her belief in the power of personalized education.
Sharanya later upskilled with a Product Management program at IIM Indore and was incubated by IIM Bangalore's NSRCEL. Currently, she is part of NASSCOM Tech's incubator program. Her flagship initiative, the 'Superb!e Saathi' program, integrates the MI theory into early childhood education, fostering self-discovery and enthusiasm for learning.
Sharanya Eshwaran's commitment to personalized education extends beyond just curriculum development. For over a year, she has been training teachers on Multiple Intelligence, collaborating with schools to establish a more understanding and open mindset. Teachers found the approach intriguing but initially challenging to implement. However, after participating in the workshops, they discovered engaging methods to integrate Multiple Intelligence into their classrooms.
Through her efforts, Sharanya continues to inspire children, transforming education into a journey of discovery and joy.
